We’re Petra and Attila. We laid the foundations of Tabuk Villája Psychology Center in 2023 and brought our vision to life, idea by idea, throughout 2024.
We’re constantly working to ensure our clients are welcomed by professionally trained, empathetic, and accepting psychologists in a warm, home-like setting. In this comforting, cozy space, we provide an ergonomic environment, modern tools, and a reliable support system to every psychologist — enabling ongoing professional development from both a clinical and technical perspective.
If you're curious about who we are, why and how we created Tabuk Villája, how we work, and where we're headed, read on — we’ll answer all your questions.
We’ve always shared a love for doing things differently — that’s exactly why we knew we wouldn’t create just another practice. From the start, we’ve built Tabuk Villája on core values like professionalism, quality, trustworthiness, transparency, innovation, creativity, and open communication, whether in client care or collaboration with our team of psychologists. But what do these words really mean in practice?
We pay close attention to everything and everyone, right down to the smallest details — even if it sometimes annoys our colleagues (yes, we know, sorry). But this might be what truly sets us apart. For us, reliability is essential. We invest daily in building a space our clients can trust. That’s why we go out of our way to make sure everyone receives the care they need.
After a first session, clients are asked how things went through our digital follow-up system. If any ethical or competence issues arise, or the fit doesn’t feel right (e.g. relational mismatch), we address it immediately — because the success of therapy depends on more than just the client.
We believe clients deserve to be in a place where their psychologist feels competent, confident, and safe enough to bring their skills to life — rather than frustrated by difficult cases or overwhelmed by poor-fit situations. That’s why we keep checking in with our team, not just our clients.
Real teamwork happens behind the scenes here. We know that has a huge impact on the people we support. We regularly run supervision, case reviews, and workshops for our psychologists. These include structured programs tailored to professional development, involving supervisors, external experts, and highly qualified peers who bring in new perspectives and tools to help solve client challenges more effectively.
This is our mindset. Detail-oriented, consistent, and grounded in mutual trust. We believe that sustainable, ethical, high-quality psychological care can only be built on such a foundation — and we’re committed to it every day.
So how did we get here, and how did our psychological center become your go-to space? Well, it’s a funny thing. In a way, we found this path by chance — but we’ve followed it with full intention ever since. What a phenomenal journey it's been. Get to know us better.
Motto
When climbing the ladder of success, make sure it’s leaning against the right wall.
Strengths
High EQ, empathy, relationship-building, psychological insight, perseverance, reliability, acceptance, and openness.
Challenges
Shifting roles, changing workload, expanding areas of responsibility.
Once upon a time, there was a psychologist named Petra. Psychologist Petra spent over 10 years diligently studying — she became a behavior analyst, certified psychologist, trainer, and later a specialist in sexual psychology. At some point, she realized that something this rewarding — learning — wasn’t something she wanted to stop. So she dove deeper into the world of cognitive behavior therapy, then moved on to systemic thinking in couple and family therapy training. As time went by, she worked in various practices, yet none of them felt like the right place to fully express her identity as a psychologist. She missed the structure, the colleagues, the meaningful conversations between sessions, the sense of a shared professional life. Still, she wasn’t discouraged — she was full of ideas, insights, and experience. And as life would have it, that’s when she crossed paths with an exceptionally ambitious man named Attila.
Motto
Do or do not, there is no try.
Strengths
High IQ, rapid learning, creativity, business acumen, trust-building, clear boundaries, acceptance, and openness.
Challenges
Patience, mentoring
Ambitious Attila also brought a wealth of experience to the table — though from a completely different field, which turned out to be a real advantage. Psychologists may be highly skilled in many areas, but business thinking often isn’t one of them. With a background in economics, Attila had always worked in client-focused roles, supporting the operations of his partners in the service industry. Sharing knowledge and mutual support are key values for him. Over the past decade, he held leadership positions at market-leading companies in healthcare and at firms developing and operating administrative software. He didn’t hesitate to put that experience and client-centered mindset to use when building Tabuk Villája. For Attila, increasing the effectiveness of therapy through modern, digital tools — and helping participants reach their goals more fully — is a deeply meaningful, valuable, and at the same time exciting mission.
How Tabuk Villája Was Born – A Mental Stronghold
This story that soared to stratospheric heights has plenty of depth, too. Were there obstacles and hard days? Almost every single day — yesterday, today, and tomorrow included. More than we expected, and we were prepared for them. (Attila even had a spreadsheet for it…)
The SWOT analysis didn’t lie. One by one, potential risks turned into real challenges. Some of the hardest moments came from within — as Attila often says, “We are our own worst enemies.”
With nearly a decade between us in age, and wildly different experiences, work styles, and life rhythms, it took effort and honesty to lay down the rules of working together. That work paid off. The time, the sacrifices, the countless awkward and meaningful conversations eventually brought our hearts and our minds closer — and one day, they’ll form a solid circle.
You might think this is the end, but it’s just the beginning. We’re full of new ideas we want to bring to life, grounded in shared values and a common way of working.
Thank you to all our clients and psychologists for the trust you've placed in us. We wish everyone continued growth and meaningful work together.
