As a private individual
I have been fencing competitively for over 15 years. This period has brought many pleasant experiences along with challenges and difficulties – and it continues to do so. From the beginning, I felt that there were others more skilled, faster, and stronger in our field, but I always managed to compete with them and with myself to earn my place in the age group national teams. Every time I felt like my performance was nearing the best, something happened that pulled me back either physically or mentally. I received one of the biggest blows during COVID when I won the Hungarian championship in the adult category, and I had the opportunity to fight for Olympic qualification. However, I caught the virus, and the season ended for me. After that, losing my father made me feel like I lost a part of myself too, but, as always, I managed to set new goals for myself, through which I could rebuild myself. I reinforced my ability to enjoy and love the things I do in my everyday life.

There is something that connects all of us: challenges, failures, and great new beginnings are parts of our lives. Through our joint work, you can gain tools on how to manage the only certain thing in life: change.
As a therapist
As I mentioned, as an athlete, I wanted to give my best starting from my high school days, which led to putting more and more pressure on myself. I struggled with gradually intensifying anxiety complaints, when I had to realize that I couldn't help myself alone and sought the help of a professional. Looking back, I see that by doing this relatively late, I only reinforced bad habits. I experienced both the mental and physical symptoms of generalized anxiety before realizing that anxiety disorders don't just go away.
However, to this day I am grateful to my psychologist who taught me how to effectively cope with pressure, whether it comes from myself or external sources. Learning and frequently using autogenic training and other relaxation tools quickly had positive effects on my performance and general mood, and through various tasks, I managed to get my anxiety under control. Simultaneously, I was able to improve my self-confidence, and that’s when I decided I wanted to focus on helping those who, due to their anxiety, cannot show their true selves in the future.
The time has come when I can help adolescents and adults experiencing difficulties and stress due to their current life situations, and who typically have anxiety complaints. Among other things, I use relaxation methods whose therapeutic effects are supported by my own experiences. Mastering these techniques and applying them confidently and regularly can greatly contribute to the reduction of anxiety.
I warmly welcome you if you’re interested in learning how to more easily manage your daily challenges.
