As a private individual

The spirit of adventure, curiosity, and a deep interest in people drive me forward—and these also permeate my daily life. I've always been fascinated by people—I remember as a child wondering how it is that we can be so different. What shapes us into who we are? What lies behind human behavior? Back then, I didn't even know psychology existed as a profession, but I paid attention, asked questions, and tried to understand.

One could say that from there, a straight path led me to the vocation of psychology, but—as in fairy tales—I had to go through a lot before I truly found my place.

Over the years, I increasingly felt that something was wrong—eventually my body signaled it in the form of an autoimmune disease. That’s when my journey of self-awareness began. As a psychologist, I too went to therapy and experienced firsthand the healing power of unconditional acceptance and the therapeutic relationship.

In my free time, I recharge among horses—they are living, organic mirrors to me. They respond to every movement, immediately provide feedback, and seek a presence from us that is a rare treasure in today’s world. I believe that connecting to ourselves through them is one of the most genuine forms of connection—and this experience deeply impacts my therapeutic work.

I am amazed by how multifaceted, contradictory, and unique human experiences are—and that everyone has their own reality worth discovering. This is what I want to pass on to my clients too: that they see not just the image others project onto them, but that they discover who they really are.

As a therapist

As a psychologist, I work with a person-centered approach, incorporating cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic elements. I believe the key to change lies in a safe, empathetic relationship that allows the client to reinterpret past experiences and approach current challenges more flexibly.

  • The person-centered approach supports clients with acceptance and empathy, aiding personal growth and self-acceptance.

  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy helps clients recognize and change negative thought patterns, enabling more effective stress and daily problem management.

  • The psychodynamic approach assists clients in understanding how unconscious conflicts and past experiences influence current issues, identifying recurring patterns that hinder development.

As a grief counselor, I help clients emotionally process losses—whether death, separation, or job changes. I emphasize the unity of body and mind, integrating relaxation and mindfulness exercises to support comprehensive client growth.

Besides private practice, I conduct motivational interviews with doctors preparing to work abroad, helping clarify their career goals, motivations, and personal strengths for successful adaptation to foreign work environments. This experience enhances my understanding of internal motivation mechanisms.

During consultations, I prioritize respect, trust, and sincere support as fundamental guidelines, ensuring a safe and supportive space necessary for growth.
