As a private individual

Maybe I got interested in psychology as a teenager because I struggled with many problems during that time. I was anxious and depressed. I felt like I had many years ahead of me and didn’t know what to do with it.

Sometimes, people feel like time has stopped and they’re overwhelmed by the endlessness of the life ahead. But the world keeps turning, and for outsiders, what happens inside can be incomprehensible.

I believe these feelings weren’t meaningless. They helped me define a life purpose and brought me closer to a future that better fits my personality.

I owe a lot to literature, philosophy, and psychology, which helped me fill my life with meaning. In my free time, I enjoy reading and engaging with philosophy, films, and art. 19th-century Russian literature is especially close to my heart, and existentialism had a strong impact on me. This topic is fascinating to me because understanding the spirit of that era greatly influenced psychology as a science. Literary and philosophical works helped me understand people and myself far better than any textbook.

Research proves that sports and physical activity have positive effects on both the body and mind.

I personally prefer long, slow, reflective forest hikes, not too challenging, either with friends or alone. In forest hikes, I feel there’s something extra—something intangible, maybe spiritual—that comes from connecting with nature. I don’t have pets right now, but I love animals. I’m a typical cat lover, but I’d also like to have a dog and a cat someday.

As a therapist

I was deeply influenced by existentialist writers and thinkers like Dostoevsky and psychiatrist Viktor Frankl. My readings and literary adventures shaped my personality and motivated me to work with people facing difficult life circumstances. This path led me to become a part-time assistant nurse in a closed psychiatric ward in Budapest during my university years, followed by work as a therapeutic staff member in a social care facility for psychiatric and addiction patients.

Through personal experience and professional work, I have seen that those in the worst situations often feel their lives are meaningless or purposeless. Therefore, I believe the most important thing is for a person to know what they love in life and to have some vision for tomorrow.

I am here to help if you are struggling emotionally, feeling sad, depressed, angry, or stuck in life not knowing what to do or where to go next. I believe that together we can more easily uncover why you feel this way. I can support you if you feel lonely or have difficulty forming or maintaining relationships. I also help with self-confidence issues when it’s hard to be yourself around others. If you fear something specific, we can work together to face it. And I warmly welcome you even if you feel life is meaningless and you’re fed up with everything and everyone.

I will support you until you feel you have found your path.

In my work, I use tools from CBT and Rogerian, person-centered approaches. The core of the person-centered method is empathy, understanding, and unconditional acceptance. I want you to know I have no expectations of you, you don’t have to perform, just be honest and bravely be yourself.

Here’s a quote from Carl Rogers, the father of person-centered therapy:

“In my early professional years, I asked: How can I treat, cure, or change this person? Now I would phrase the question this way: How can I provide a relationship which this person can use for their own personal growth?”

I am currently training in cognitive behavioral therapy, an evidence-based psychotherapeutic method effective in treating issues like depression and anxiety. Its fundamental premise is that our thoughts about the events we experience determine our feelings, making it highly applicable to everyday emotional struggles.

Our primary goal is to unlock your potential and bring you closer to an ideal, growth-ready version of yourself. This requires that both of us be authentically present during our conversations — in other words, to be ourselves. I want you to see me as an equal partner because that is how I will approach you. I won’t tell you what you must do to be happy, nor will I offer concrete solutions to your problems, because I believe life is not about problems waiting to be solved, but about individuals with unique stories and traits. I believe existence or life has no ideal form; everyone has individual needs, so only together, through shared work, can we find out what you truly need.
