As a private individual
Sports have been a part of my life since childhood. At 16, I moved from the countryside to join the Ferencváros team, and for more than 25 years, I played handball competitively.
Besides the successes, I also encountered the tougher side of being an athlete: the failures, the downswings, the injuries, and those internal struggles that might be familiar to you too.
As a young athlete, I was a perfectionist and overthinker, which made dealing with failures and tougher periods very difficult. Often, I could only start climbing back up from the bottom of the pit. This way of functioning is not necessarily advantageous in competitive sports, yet it played a defining role in
sparking my interest in mental preparation and self-awareness.
I've always been characterized by a strong duality, sensitive inside – outwardly, though, I operated as a strong, determined, “fighter” athlete. This duality was challenging for a long time, but now I know that it is precisely what makes me whole. I've learned that strength does not mean suppressing feelings, but rather facing them.
These experiences have shaped who I am today: they taught me persistence, resilience, and how to re-plan, and they formed the value system that guides my life and work now.
Throughout my career and life, I have had to fulfill many roles: I was a child, then an adult, a teammate and an opponent, an athlete, a student and an employee, a friend and a girlfriend, and of course, a psychologist.
I know what it feels like to balance between these life roles, then occasionally get lost in them, and then find myself again. Perhaps that is why I feel it's important to support not only athletes, but anyone else
who feels stuck, overwhelmed, is seeking direction, wants to grow, or simply wants to understand themselves better.

As a therapist
The world of sports psychology for me is not just a professional field, but also a personal commitment. After 25 years of competitive sports, I know exactly how important it is to see not just the performance, but the person behind the athlete. As a psychologist, I now want to be that supportive background for you, which would have meant a lot to me (or actually did) during my career.
As a certified psychologist and sports psychology specialist, as well as a coach, I work to support others.
My methodological approach is person-centered and rests on cognitive foundations, and I am currently starting my complex integrative therapist training to be able to support those who turn to me with even more tools and flexibility.
I continuously educate myself and engage in my own self-awareness process, to authentically accompany others on their path – whether in sports or everyday challenges.
Besides my work as a psychologist, I also support my clients in coaching-oriented processes in situations that are not primarily about blockages, but rather about development needs, conscious self-improvement, or targeted performance focus.
Beyond sports psychology work, I have also gained organizational and work psychology experience, so I am well acquainted with the different forms of performance situations – whether on the sports field, at the workplace, in leadership roles, or personal life challenges. In my opinion, performance manifests in every area of life and requires the same inner awareness, self-reflection, and flexibility.
In my work, I work with young people and adults starting from adolescence (14 years) - with athletes and civilian clients alike. My goal is that through our mutual work, everyone gains a better understanding of their own functioning, uses their inner resources more consciously, and finds balance between performance and mental well-being.
I believe that honesty, trust, openness, and respect are the foundations of every relationship, and I want to provide this perspective to those I work with.
It is important to me that our mutual work happens in a space where there is no need to comply, just to be present – as oneself. Change begins when someone dares to honestly look at where they are, and starts moving towards development. My role is to accompany and support in this, and help bring to surface what is already inside. I do not offer ready-made solutions, but rather a process where
together we discover what helps the most for someone to function well in their own life – whether it's in sports, work, social relationships, or the relationship with oneself.
