As a private individual
I believe that change begins within us on a long journey of self-discovery, which is often bumpy and painful. For this, you might sometimes need a helping professional who holds your hand and guides you along the way. I have also traveled this path with my own helper, as the negative events, traumas, and losses I experienced as a child and adult appeared in my everyday life and relationships alike. I was quite young when my parents divorced, so for me, it was completely normal to live in a "broken" family. It stayed that way until I consciously started observing my peers who lived in complete families and their relationship with their parents—they experienced something quite different from what I did in my broken and later blended family. It was a difficult realization that this early trauma cast a shadow over several areas of my young adult life. It took long therapeutic work and self-awareness to recognize, accept, and outgrow it, but I believe it brought about a lifelong change. My journey of self-discovery not only helped me process the things mentioned earlier, but also assists in building a deeper connection with my clients and understanding their problems. This latter is greatly aided by the fact that I became a mother, which has made me much more sensitive. For me, being a mother is a lifelong journey of growth, the kind of sacrifice a person can bear endlessly, and what makes the world truly whole.

As a therapist
It can be painful to relive our past tragedies, but understanding and processing always bring light to the present. "It's always darkest before dawn" - in my work, I strive to help everyone experience the brightness of sunrise after dawn in their everyday lives.
In my work, I assist mentally healthy adults, couples, and families in exploring and resolving their emotional issues. During the first few sessions, I primarily use the "tools" of emotional support and acceptance in discussions, because I believe that creating trust and openness towards the therapist is one of the most important components of the therapeutic process.
After defining a mutual goal, I work with each of my clients at a personalized pace and with tailored methods. During sessions, I work from a systemic perspective, because I believe that individual problems can truly be understood and solved through their relationships, within their relational system. Tools such as self-awareness exercises, psychodrama elements, and symbolic therapeutic methods offer support in this.
