As a private individual

When I moved to Spain for six months, standing at the airport, I realized that the apartment I had booked months ago simply didn’t exist; it was just a scam, and my deposit, rent, and accommodation for that day were all gone.

There I stood alone with my 20 kg suitcase, facing a big setback.

After the initial panic and a few phone calls, I saw two options before me:

  1. Go home immediately on the nearest flight, spend all my saved money, but at least get home safely.

  2. Stay, find a cheap hotel near the airport, sleep it off, and then figure out the next day how to solve it all, but go through with it.

Since my goal for the trip was to learn about myself, people, and the world, I stayed, but little did I know that this was just the beginning of the challenges ahead...

Life-changing moments like these taught me that life really is a big adventure, full of challenges, and it’s completely normal to run into difficulties from time to time and need help.

Although I had to start over many times in recent years (due to moves, job changes, losses), these didn’t take away my curiosity. On the contrary: I’m excited about what the next chapter will bring, because my experiences so far have reinforced the idea that

challenges also hide opportunities, which can be valuable milestones in our stories.

Perhaps that’s why I love traveling: whether it's a domestic trip to the countryside, a quick visit to friends abroad, or a thoroughly planned city tour. At these times, I can truly rest from the current challenges of life, disconnect from the everyday hustle, and return to daily life with renewed energy.

I believe that the most I recharge from my human connections: listening to the stories of a long-lost friend in a café, engaging in late-night conversations by the riverside, venting after a bad day, or sitting around the fire on a weekend with friends. At the end of the day, we can always say that we’ve gained a good experience or a good story.

As a therapist

In my opinion, an essential part of the advisory process is for the client to experience that they have space, time, and opportunity to explore themselves, all at their own pace, tailored to their own needs. During the process, I strive to be authentic and present, not as a “distant professional,” but as a real, accessible person.

I believe the client knows their own life best, and I aim to support them as a companion in discovering their own answers and resources.

In my work, I try to create an environment where those who come to me can share their thoughts and feelings without judgment, in safety.

Moreover, I consciously strive to continuously expand my professional knowledge and actively engage in my own self-awareness work. I believe these professional and self-awareness experiences lay the foundation for the credibility and quality of my psychological work, which is why, in addition to the aforementioned professional studies, I have also completed the following courses:

  • OH-card instructor (OH-card Hungary)

  • Helping the Bereaved and Leading Grief Groups (Napfogyatkozás Association)

  • Leadership Development and Coaching; Case Management and Supervision (ELTE)

  • Introduction to Low-Intensity Psychological Interventions Methodology (ELTE)

  • Introduction to Person-Centered Core Skills (ELTE)

As a psychologist, I find it important to listen to and understand others' stories, because that's what the advisory process is about: discovering together how to draw new strength and direction from difficulties. I believe that every person's story is unique and valuable, and that every person holds the potential for growth and change.
