As a private individual

I spent a long time searching for my place in the world. As a child, I regularly took up activities that I hoped would make me stand out from others. This journey was particularly difficult because I often tried my hand at artistic fields in which I was considered quite untalented. It didn't help that during this time, I encountered the thinking that “anything is possible if you believe in it.”

It took a long time to realize that the world is not black and white, and not anyone can become a dancer just because they really want to.

Despite the difficulties, this toxic positivity— which dominated my thoughts during that time—started me on the path of opening up towards psychology. It was during this time that I first encountered the concept of positive psychology, and then slowly began to explore other areas of psychology.

Nevertheless, it took five years after my graduation for me to apply for a psychology degree. During these five years, I started many things, learned multiple trades, and worked abroad. I experienced what it was like to be completely alone in a foreign country and to build relationships from scratch. Finally, with a lot of experience and even more determination, I returned home with the goal of becoming a psychologist.

These days, I still love to express my creativity in my free time, and I haven't given up on expressing myself in these activities somehow.

Activities like sewing and crocheting relax and recharge me. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, so caring for and beautifying my garden brings me great joy. Exercise and a healthy lifestyle are also important parts of my daily life, so I regularly run and do strength training.

I believe that physical and mental balance are closely connected.

Alongside all these, when time permits, I enjoy reading both professional and literary works. A good book not only breaks the monotony of everyday life but also provides a new perspective, which helps me understand others better.

Contributing to socially significant causes is important to me.

Previously, I volunteered to help organize and conduct psychological events. Currently, I am planning to look for more opportunities through which I can support important causes. Recently, I am primarily concerned with child protection, so I want to support organizations that actively work for children in challenging circumstances, growing up in state care. I believe that volunteering not only helps those who benefit from it but also enriches me, gifting me new experiences and perspectives, while continuously inspiring me to grow.

As a therapist

I completed my psychology undergraduate studies at the University of Debrecen Faculty of Humanities, then continued my studies at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church with a specialization in clinical and health psychology. I worked for three years in HR and got to know the world of companies. Since we spend a significant part of our time at work, it is important to be in an environment where we feel good.

Burnout, lack of motivation, general bad mood, and other difficulties can easily undermine our well-being.

Working on self-awareness greatly helps us handle both professional and personal life challenges balanced and confidently. I believe that stability and balance at work and in private life are achievable for everyone. I aim to support my clients in this during our collaboration.

During my university years, I was particularly engaged with the topic of childbirth.

I delved deeply into both the psychological and biological processes occurring during childbirth and pregnancy.

I wrote my thesis on what impact the treatment of women in the delivery room has on childbirth and the birth experience. This aspect of the issue interested me the most because the way women are treated is the only thing that healthcare professionals have 100% control over. Being kind and accepting costs nothing, yet this behavior positively affects the entire process. Numerous scientific articles discuss how behavior during obstetric care can influence and even determine the birth experience.

It is also important to prepare consciously for this life event. Understand our own bodies and how different situations affect us. I believe it's not only in women's interest to have a positive birth experience. Although it's true only women give birth, everyone is born. Academic literature addresses this too, and there are many writings that prove that our birth can indeed determine many aspects of our personality. In my work, I'm happy to engage with expectant mothers and women planning to have children in the future.

During sessions, it's important for me to be present with empathy in the conversation and create a safe atmosphere.

Continuous learning and acquiring new methodologies help me apply the most appropriate approach at all times.

I am currently studying at the BME Work and Organizational Psychology specialist training, and in the future, I want to explore additional methodologies.
