As a private individual

Curiosity has been with me for a very long time.

What is it that motivates us humans to do bad things, good things, or even do nothing at all?

To this day, this inner curiosity guides my work. I often observe nature, and I especially admire trees. You can often clearly see on the trunk and the branches how much struggle it took for them to grow in the direction where they eventually found light and survival, despite harsh conditions. I believe we humans work exactly the same way. If we want to survive, we adapt to the direction that gives us the best chance of staying alive.

Sometimes though, this adaptation can have painful consequences. I believe that often we learn to silence our feelings, carry our burdens alone, and in the end we are only shadows of ourselves. Fortunately, we have a chance to change. We can pause for a moment and look at where we are heading and why.

I have also gone through hard breaks and painful moments, but something always kept me going. During my psychotherapy training, I spent four years in my own therapy, where along with my professional knowledge, something much more important was added: personal experience.

I learned to feel my feelings, let pain come close, and in the end I also saw how the broken parts can heal together again. This took a lot of courage, but I know firsthand that emotional healing exists, and the key is in our hands.

As a therapist

As a psychologist, I use the knowledge I gained in Ireland and Debrecen to help you get through the difficulties you are facing alone right now.

I work with an approach that focuses on deeper emotions, so together we can work on the blocks that are currently causing you pain and tension.

To be honest, when I first heard about the person-centered approach, I just brushed it off. Back then I was still fighting my own demons I did not believe that empathy could truly help anyone. Then, of course, as opposites attract, that became my approach after all.

I’ll be with you if you want to rise above trauma, or if you simply long for inner peace in the daily noise. Whether you come to me with grief, with difficult childhood memories or the effects of toxic relationships, we will dive below the surface together.

Together we’ll look at those inherited patterns lurking beneath the surface, which may have been shaping your decisions for generations without you even knowing it. I’ll help you notice where you are sabotaging yourself in the present, and how you can finally change that.

It is important to know that the therapeutic process is not a fast lane, because your pain was not built into your life in a single day either. This work may hold many surprises for you as you finally begin to truly get to know who you really are. If you have already come this far and are reading these lines, then you are also looking for a solution. On this journey, I can be your companion.
